Alaskan Gun Guard - Competitive Handgun Model ® - Patent No. US 11,624,579 B2
The Competitive Handgun Model was designed from a request from the local club - Fairbanks Alaska Shooters, Inc. for their desire to protect their handguns when practicing or more importantly during competition. Their concern was that when competing and with bad weather they either set their handgun on a table in a protected area or they use “shower caps” from the hotels so they could keep their handgun on them. If stored in a room, they would do their walk through, hustle to the room to get their handgun then back to the line. This was deemed as a distraction at the last minute.
The CHM is designed to fit over pistols (with or without optics) and revolvers. The opening in the back allows it to fit over the holster clip to the belt. The back then can be closed with the velcro strip if desired. We have also provided a carabiniere so that when it is time to step to the line you can clip it to a belt loop or anything else to stay off the ground. So far I haven’t found one that it will not fit.
The front is able to be personalized with your teams logo and your name.
